For the past three years, organizations have been asking the wrong question. The debate was never about whether AI could write reports, generate software code, summarize meetings, or answer customer enquiries. We already know it can. The real question is whether organizations designed for people can operate effectively when an increasing share of their work is performed by intelligent systems. That is a far bigger challenge.
It is also why 2026 may be remembered as the year enterprise AI stopped being a technology initiative and became an organizational transformation.
This shift was reflected at NCS AI Impact 2026, where the Singapore-based technology services company unveiled an expanded portfolio of enterprise AI platforms, industry partnerships, governance capabilities, and workforce initiatives. While the announcements showcased NCS’s own strategy, they also reflected a much broader transition taking place across the industry.
