At Google Marketing Live Southeast Asia 2026 in Singapore, Google unveiled a range of AI-powered commerce tools that bring Search, YouTube, creators, and online marketplaces closer together. The aim is simple: help consumers move more quickly from discovering a product to buying it.
The launches highlight a broader change in digital marketing. Search is no longer just about finding information. Increasingly, it is helping consumers compare products, evaluate options, and make purchasing decisions—all within the same experience.

Google says the rapid adoption of AI-powered Search is fundamentally changing how consumers shop across Southeast Asia.
According to the company, users of AI Overviews and AI Mode are making decisions faster and with greater confidence. Eighty-two percent report reaching decisions more quickly, while 80 percent say AI helps them feel more confident about their choices.
