The Trade Desk (TTD) is pushing the boundaries of AI in marketing with two major innovations: the launch of Deal Desk and an expanded partnership with Rembrand. These updates enhance both the management of digital ad deals and the delivery of creative content. This signals a significant step forward in AI-powered programmatic advertising.

Smarter deal management with Deal Desk
Launching in beta in Q3 2025, Deal Desk is a new feature on TTD’s Kokai platform. It is designed to improve one-to-one deals between advertisers and publishers. It brings AI-driven tools like:
- Deal Quality Scores
- Automated deal activation
- Real-time optimization and recommendations
These features give advertisers deeper transparency and control, while helping publishers boost the appeal of their inventory.
More impactful ads with Rembrand
In parallel, TTD is expanding its generative AI creative capabilities through a partnership with Rembrand, known for its spatially aware AI tech. Now, advertisers can embed branded products into video content after it’s created. This results in seamless, in-scene placements.
These virtual product ads turn influencer or creator content into context-rich, shoppable ad units, helping brands stay relevant and unobtrusive.
According to Samantha Jacobson, TTD’s Chief Strategy Officer, this integration offers “a powerful new way to own the moment.” It makes advertising feel immersive and culturally relevant.
A new standard for AI in marketing
Together, Deal Desk and Rembrand integration make Kokai a more intelligent, creative, and performance-driven platform. In this market, advertisers demand both transparency and innovation. The Trade Desk is showing how AI can deliver on both fronts.
In short, AI isn’t just optimizing campaigns; it’s reinventing how digital advertising works.
