For years, automation has helped marketers manage digital advertising, but they still have to navigate platforms, interpret dashboards and decide what to do next. Agentic AI could change that by moving analysis closer to execution.
Innovid’s integration of Meta’s ads Model Context Protocol (MCP) server into NIVO shows where this is heading. NIVO can securely access Meta campaign data, allowing marketers to ask questions in natural language about campaign health, performance trends, optimization opportunities and creative fatigue. In early enterprise tests, Innovid says marketers are already using it for these tasks.
The important development is not the conversational interface, but the connection behind it. Once AI agents can access live campaign data, understand what is happening and connect recommendations directly to advertising workflows, they become part of the process rather than another tool for analyzing it.
The dashboard may become less important
Advertising dashboards exist because people need a way to navigate complex systems. AI agents do not necessarily need the same interface. With access to campaign data, an agent can retrieve information directly, interpret it and recommend what should happen next.
Instead of opening Meta Ads Manager, filtering campaigns and comparing reports, a marketer could ask why conversions fell yesterday. The agent could examine the data, identify the campaigns responsible, detect creative fatigue and suggest what needs to change.
