Why marketing’s next revolution isn’t content—it’s execution

For the past three years, one question has dominated conversations in marketing: What can AI create?

The answers came quickly. AI could draft blog posts in seconds, generate campaign visuals from a simple prompt and summarise research before the first meeting of the day. For many marketing teams, generative AI became an everyday productivity tool, helping them create more content in less time.

But as the excitement settled, a different reality emerged. While content production accelerated, campaigns weren’t necessarily moving any faster. Research was still scattered across multiple sources. Approvals continued to crawl through layers of review. Teams remained separated by workflows that hadn’t fundamentally changed.

The real bottleneck, it turned out, wasn’t creating content. It was getting work done.

That is why Tencent Cloud’s introduction of WorkBuddy, creative agent Miora and the Model-as-a-Service platform TokenHub in Indonesia is about more than another AI product launch. Together, they point to the next phase of enterprise AI: agentic systems designed not just to generate content, but to help plan, coordinate and execute increasingly complex work.

For marketers, this could mark one of the biggest shifts since the rise of digital marketing itself.
