Corelytics by Bunjang:
Redefining trust in the recommerce economy through AI-powered scientific authentication

In a world where counterfeit sophistication evolves as fast as consumer technology, trust has become the ultimate currency in the booming recommerce economy. This week, Bunjang, South Korea’s leading tech-driven recommerce platform, made a defining leap forward. They launched Corelytics, an AI-powered, non-destructive authentication system. It promises nothing short of a paradigm shift in how authenticity is verified.

Officially unveiled at the 2025 Counterfeit Appraisal Technology Conference, hosted by South Korea’s Ministry of Intellectual Property (MOIP), Corelytics represents the culmination of years of technological innovation. There was significant data science collaboration between Bunjang and its subsidiary Insightview Tech. It marks the transition of authentication from art to science, from subjective visual judgment to objective molecular analysis.

From visual guesswork to scientific certainty

Conventional luxury authentication has long depended on the trained eyes and intuition of experts. Yet in an age where counterfeits are engineered with CNC machining, 3D scanning, and ultra-precise casting, even veteran authenticators are being challenged. Corelytics addresses this problem at its root. It does so not by seeing more, but by seeing deeper.

The system employs non-destructive X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technology. It analyses ultra-trace elemental compositions in materials such as metals, leather, and textiles. Within just six seconds, Corelytics captures each product’s “material DNA.” This is a unique elemental signature that distinguishes authentic items from even the most sophisticated replicas.

This molecular-level precision enables 99.9% authentication accuracy without damaging the product, a scientific and ethical breakthrough in luxury verification.

“Even when two luxury products appear identical to the human eye, Corelytics looks beneath the surface, decoding every product’s material fingerprint at the molecular level,” said Jina Kim, Head of Bunjang’s Scientific Authentication Division.

A global debut that signals a new standard

The technology’s launch drew global attention. Among the attendees was Daren Tang, Director General of...
