Adobe MAX 2025 marked a significant milestone this year with the release of Adobe’s inaugural Creators’ Toolkit Report. Based on insights gathered from 16,000 creators across eight major creative markets, the report highlights a profound and irreversible shift in how creators work, create, produce, and grow. Creative generative AI, once regarded as an experimental tool, has now become deeply woven into the fabric of everyday creative production, influencing everything from business growth to audience engagement to the evolution of creative identity itself.

Creative generative AI has moved from novelty to necessity

The report makes one truth unmistakable: creative generative AI has crossed the threshold from optional enhancement to essential creative infrastructure. A striking majority of creators now rely on generative AI to enrich their workflows, expand their capabilities, and increase their output at unprecedented speed. Most creators describe AI as a catalyst for professional growth, enabling them to reach wider audiences and accelerate the development of their personal brands.

What emerges strongly is the sense that AI is not replacing creativity but amplifying it. Creators consistently express that generative AI allows them to produce work they would not have been able to create on their own. Whether through advanced editing functions, upscaling tools, the generation of entirely new visual assets, or more intuitive ideation processes, AI has become a silent but powerful collaborator. It supports creators in exploring ideas, refining concepts, and elevating the quality of their output, all while preserving the creative decisions that define their style and artistic identity.
