Hisense’s AI Companion Suite promises a home that understands what people need before they ask. For consumers, that means convenience. For marketers, it signals a bigger shift: AI could become a new gatekeeper between brands and everyday purchasing decisions.

The refrigerator knows what is inside. The oven knows what you are cooking. The washing machine recognizes the laundry. The air conditioner knows when someone enters the room.

At IFA 2026, Hisense is bringing these capabilities together in its AI Companion Suite, powered by ConnectLife. Instead of operating as separate smart devices, appliances are designed to sense conditions, understand preferences and coordinate what happens next.

For consumers, the promise is simple: less effort. For marketers, however, something more fundamental is happening. The home itself is becoming an intelligent interface.

When the fridge becomes a gatekeeper

Consider dinner.

Hisense’s AI Companion Refrigerator can recognize available ingredients and suggest meals based on personal preferences. Choose a recipe and it can synchronize with the oven. A connected wine cabinet can recommend a pairing, while the dishwasher adjusts cleaning to the dishes afterwards.

The interesting part is not the refrigerator. It is the chain of decisions.

Today, food brands compete for visibility on supermarket shelves, Google, social media, retail platforms and recipe sites. Tomorrow, the decisive moment could occur inside an AI-mediated kitchen.

Ask, “What should I cook tonight?” and the real marketing question becomes: Which recipe, ingredient or brand does the AI recommend?
